Dr. Rudrangshu Mukherjee is an internationally acclaimed Indian historian, author, and academic who serves as the Chancellor and Professor of History at Ashoka University. He was the founding Vice-Chancellor of the university from 2014 to 2017. Prior to his full-time career in academia, he spent over two decades as the Editor of the Editorial Pages for The Telegraph newspaper in Kolkata (1993–2014)
