Bhagwaticharan Verma

Bhagwati Charan Verma (30 August 1903 – 5 October 1981) was one of the most towering and influential figures of 20th-century Hindi literature. A prolific novelist, poet, and playwright, he is celebrated for his deep social realism, acute psychological insight, and philosophical inquiries into human morality. Alongside literary giants like Amritlal Nagar, he helped shape the golden era of modern Hindi prose.
