Description
The story follows two disciples, Shvetank and Vishaldev, who are sent by their guru, Mahaprabhu Ratnambar, into the world to study the lives of the wealthy noble Beejgupt and the ascetic yogi Kumargiri. Their contrasting experiences lead to the central philosophical conclusion of the book: that sin and virtue are merely matters of perspective, and human beings simply do what circumstances compel them to do
